Marvejols, the former king’s headquarter in Gevaudan…

Marvejols is located in Gevaudan ( 670 meter high) at the entrance of Aubrac and Margeride; close to Gorges du Tarn and “causes” (name given to the mountains in this part of France).

 

Via A75 highway, the town is 5 hours from Paris and Spain, 1 hour and 15 minute from Clermont-Ferrand and 2 hours from Montpellier.

 

Via RN88 (close to Marvejols), you take the same time to go to Toulouse or Lyon.
